John 11:35 – “Jesus wept” is the shortest verse in the Bible. Jesus is hurt by things that hurt us.
The Bible tells us that there are 3 things that make Jesus cry.
- Hebrews 5:7 – Jesus cried for others.
- Luke 19:41-42 – Jesus cried for people missing out on what God has for them.
- John 11 – Jesus cried when his friends were hurting. Jesus feels our pain and cares about our tears.
