Bible Passage: Mark 9:30-37

Wobbly. When I say the title of this message, what does it make you think of?

When I think of something wobbly in my imagination, I see a pyramid trembling on its tip, with the heavy bottom part high up in the air. Or have you ever played Jenga? Or Pick up Stix? We pay engineers and architects a lot of money to design buildings that are safe for us to live and work in—that are NOT wobbly.

What does “wobbly” have to do with you and me?
